My 40 lessons for 30 years part 3

  • Personal Finance: You CANNOT get on top of your finances until you know how you are spending it.

  • Mind: The rich are rich because they treat time as their greatest commodity. The poor waste time

  • Dreams & visions: Have a vision for every part of your life. A vision is a goal, and without a goal, it’s difficult to score. The consequence of no vision? Your subconscious replays its fears into your life because that’s what repetition has taught it. By repeating the negative thought patterns, you’re telling your mind, it’s really important. Since it’s a good mind you have, that’s exactly what it gives you. A  negative experience

  • Identity: Create one. Then create a personal brand while you’re at it.

  • Self-image: Self-image is created from Self-talk; You’re telling yourself a story about your life, so make it a good one

  • Relationships/ Pleasing others: Social media is basically people editing their best-imagined self to present to others. So get out of your way and stop being miserable.

  • Relationships: You are part of a network: be aware of it and how valuable you are to it. Work to increase your value ( if you want to live a happier life), and your network will reward you right back

  • Self: Most of your life is you talking to yourself. Lol

  • Mind: Thinking is asking and answering questions. Quality thinking is constantly asking and answering quality questions.
  •
  • Goals: We always ‘wash’ (lie to) ourselves about achieving goals. We fall in love with new ideas ( shiny object theory). We actually are all great marketers to our own selves. lol.
